“Angel on the Bridge” Helps Save Man From Jumping Off The Bridge
LMPD are calling a woman jogging across the Clark Memorial Bridge an “ANGEL on the bridge” when she helped hold a man from jumping off the bridge. An officer ran up and helped, while asking the jogger to push his distress button on his uniform to call for backup.
She jogs across the bridge every day and happened upon the man just in time. Police handcuffed the man for his safety and took him to the hospital. It was reportedly his second attempt at jumping. WDRB featured the story and LMPD posted it on Facebook.
