Bus Driver Runs Into Burning House Of His Students And Rescues Dogs
“I was just in the right place at the right time.”
That’s what Ohio school bus driver, retired police officer and Army vet, Todd Morris, says after running into a burning house on his route. Morris was coming back from an errand and noticed the smoke where two elementary kids that ride his bus lived. He knew school was out due to cold temperatures and was afraid they might be home, so he kicked down the door to check while calling 911.
Fortunately nobody was home except for two family dogs, Lady and Cash, and he got them safely out. The homeowner was blown away he was willing to risk his life like that. A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for the family.
