Louisville Is Getting A New Light Sculpture
It’s lit, fam. Literally. The Louisville Visual Art building is getting a new art installment that will light up Lytle Street in Portland. According to Louisville Visual Art,
The SPARK sculpture includes bright metal elements and clear rods that light up similarly to neon tubes. The work will also have many “icons” painted onto the wall around the main “SPARK” shape using a stencil process.
SPARK stands for Student + Professional Art Resources + Knowledge, which is what you’ll find inside the building!
On February 13 at 6:30pm, they will hold a dedication where you can see the art illuminated after sunset. It’s all happening at Louisville Visual Art on 1538 W. Lytle Street.
