Student Initially Denied $10,000 Half-Court Contest Prize
Noah Lee crushed a shooting contest at the University of Massachusetts during a women’s basketball game where he had to make a series of shots ending with a half-court…and make them all. He DID…but there was controversy. The promotional company in charge of potentially paying out the $10,000 prize said he didn’t win… because his foot was on the half-court line.
As you can imagine, there was an outcry online and the UMass ultimately decided THEY would be the ones to pay Lee. He’s using the money to pay off student loans and give himself a last awesome Spring Break!
