Man Serenades His Wife In Front Of Their Burned Down Home
86-year-old Manuel Alvarado and his wife of 62 years came back to the home they’ve owned since 1972 to see if anything was left after the devastating L.A. fires. He managed to escape with his cherished guitar when they evacuated, and brought it with him to check out the rubble.
He said “It’s sad, you want to cry, but you do need laughter and happiness.” She said, “I’m not sad because we’re coming back!”
