SZA Reveals Her Dream Movie Role With Marvel
SZA joined the Jennifer Hudson Show to chat about her acting debut in One of Them Days, working with Keke Palmer, and how her past as a gymnast allowed her to do some stunts for the movie.
Hudson asked her about her dream role and SZA answered that she would love to play Storm from the Marvel Comics.
Dream role is crazy because I never saw myself really acting prior to this. And now I want to try something really serious.
I want to explore what being serious with a full range of complex emotions would be like. Not that I’m an actor or want to be an actor, but that might be so fun — slipping into a drama, or a thriller, a reason to be a little violent.
I think I would be so gnarly if I could be Storm’s origin story.
SZA went onto to describe her new beauty line, NOT Beauty, with an emphasis on lip glosses and creams.
