Army Veteran Reunited With Dog She Served With
An Army veteran named Kristin Vanderzanden recently got her dog Frenky back more than three years after they served together in the military. They were in Afghanistan and started working together in 2017 and she was also his trainer, and they did 20 Secret Service missions.
She’s been in the Army 8 years now and spent 4 1/2 of those with Frenky. He went right to her when he saw her and they are best buddies again! The American Humane Society started their Military Working Dog Reunification program and provides the resources to bring them home and pays for any future vet bills.
