Wife’s Instincts Saves Her Husband’s Life
Jeff Goss, 53, has his wife Michelle to thank for saving his life with her insistence they call 911. They were about to head out for an Arizona Cardinals baseball game when their living room surveillance camera caught Jeff complaining of feeling nausea, chest pain and coughing. He tried to assure her that it wasn’t that bad, but Michelle called 911 saying she thought he might be having a heart attack. She was right; it was a massive heart attack called the “widow-maker.”
59 minutes after 911 was called, Jeff was in surgery to unblock his artery with a stent. Doctors later told them had it been 10 minutes later, he wouldn’t have made it. She posted the video to show that heart attacks don’t always look the way they do in TV shows and in movies.
