Shaboozey Shouts Out Beyoncé At People’s Choice Country Awards
Shaboozey was honored at the New Artist of 2024 at People’s Choice Country Awards! Others who were nominated for the the award were Chase Matthew, Cayce Beckham, Dasha, Koe Wetzel, Nate Smith, Tucker Wetmore, and Warren Zeiders. When Shaboozey accepted the award, the mic was on the short side, so we bent over to give his thank-yous.
Thank you to People’s Choice, the fans, and listeners for this award. I’m so honored and extremely humbled. I never would have thought in a million years that I’d be up here at the Grand Ole Opry accept something like this. It’s a dream come true.

Beyoncé was nominated for a slew of PCCAs, but was snubbed in the CMAs. Shaboozey was part of two of her songs on the Cowboy Carter album: “SPAGHETTII” and “SWEET ★ HONEY ★ BUCKIIN’.”
