James Van Der Beek Selling “Varsity Blues” Memorabilia To Offset Cancer Treatment Costs
James Van Der Beek recently opened up about his colorectal cancer diagnosis, and is now letting go of some movie memorabilia to help with the “financial burden of cancer” for families “including my own”. He is selling limited-edition autographed jerseys of his character Jonathan “Mox” Moxon from Varsity Blues and “100% of my net proceeds” will go toward cancer treatments, including the hashtag, “#cancerisexpensive.”
Van Der Beek, 47, promoted the sale of his jerseys on Instagram while still being optimistic about his health. Meanwhile, the 4K UHD version of Varsity Blues is on sale for Cyber Monday on Amazon.
