‘Scrubs’ Is Getting A Revival
ABC has greenlit a Scrubs reboot and they are working on locking in original stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke and John C. McGinley. Creator Bill Lawrence will be on board as executive producer.
Judy Reyes may not be a part of it due to her role on High Potential. The project will be both a revival and full reboot, looking to “capture the essence of young idealistic medical professionals in the hospital setting that resonated with audiences during the show’s original run on NBC from 2001 to 2010.” In its run over 9 seasons, the show earned 17 Emmy nominations, and carried on with Braff and Faison launching the rewatch podcast “Fake Doctors, Real Friends” in 2020. The two have also appeared in a series of T-Mobile commercials together!
