Building Homes For Heroes Donates 400th Home
U.S. Army veteran Joshua Sager has a new home, mortgage free, thanks to charity Building Homes for Heroes. The organization was founded by Andy Pujol and gives back to veterans and first responders all year round, and Sager’s home is the 400th mortgage-free home they have gifted. Pujol was moved by seeing first responders in the rubble after 9-11 and pledged to God to give back to his country. For the first 7 or 8 years, they were only able to build one home per year. After being highlighted on Fox News, the charity grew with support and now they are building a home every 8.5 DAYS.
Sager was severely injured while deployed in 2015 and is forever grateful to be able to live free of house payments with his wife and daughter.
