Jamie Foxx Confirms He Suffered A Brain Bleed And Stroke
Jamie Foxx finally told his story during his Netflix special, Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was.
He tells the audience he thought he just had simple headaches on the set of Back In Action. Turns out, it was a brain bleed and stroke that landed him in a coma for 20 days. Then he had to relearn basic functions, including walking, after waking up.
He credited a timely surgery for saving his life and made his first public appearance at a Critics Choice event in December 2023 after months of recuperation. Hear his full story on the Netflix special now streaming.
