A nationwide ground stoppage for all American Airlines flights on Christmas Eve due to a “vendor technology issue” only lasted about an hour, but the ripple effect was far and wide adding to delays for travelers.
American Airlines issued an apology and insisted “all hands” were on deck to get travelers where they needed to go.
