Louisville Woman Getting A New Smile Free Of Charge
WAVE3 has the story of a local woman getting a full new set of teeth free of charge..
49-year-old Shannon Heineman is a mom of three who spent 13 years in an abusive relationship. She moved all of her things out in one day and is starting over. But one thing holding her back was her smile. She’s missing several teeth in her bottom jaw and it’s impacted her moving on. She recently found out she was the lucky recipient of the Second Chance Program, meaning she’ll get a set of permanent, fully-functioning teeth. Dr. Kenneth Livesay from Innovative Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Surgery is doing the work in February, which should take 4-5 hours to complete.
The work she’s getting done could cost upwards of $50,000 but she won’t pay a cent!
