Winterstorm Brings “Thunder Snow” And “Thunder Ice”
The first major winter storm of the year has been wreaking havoc on the midwest, and introduced us to “thunder snow”! Jim Cantore from The Weather Channel experienced in Kansas City, Missouri. Locally, kids enjoyed sledding while a couple of Good Samaritans helped tow people from Downtown to the Highlands.
Meteorologist Jude Redfield from WDRB then said we’ve got “thunder ice” in the area…and gave it theme music, which we appreciate!
