Director Denies A Feud Between His Stars Is Delaying “A Simple Favor 2”
With all of the press surrounding Blake Lively’s lawsuit against her co-star and director of “It Ends With Us” came rumors a feud was delaying her next movie. Director Paul Feig is shooting that down as “total BS” rumors.

The film was finished shooting last April, and he simply said post-production was in the works and they had always planned for a spring/summer 2025 release. Anna Kendrick said,
“And I’ll say after making the first one, I was fully like, ‘This is the craziest movie I’ve ever been a part of.’ I think it’s really fascinating that Paul Feig is the guy who’s arguably best known for Bridesmaids, and the darkness and craziness that is inside of his brain, it’s impressive,” “You’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ ” “So the second movie is nuts. I know I’m going to say that, like, ‘Oh, it’s crazier than the last one,’ but girl, it’s a lot.”
