After delays due to the L.A. wildfires, Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott present the 2025 Academy Award nominations.
The musical, “Emilia Pérez,” leads with 13 total nominations while “Wicked” and “The Brutalist” each picked up 10 nods. Battling it out for Best Picture are: “Anora,” “The Brutalist,” “A Complete Unknown,” “Conclave,” “Dune: Part Two,” “Emilia Perez,” “I’m Still Here,” “Nickel Boys,” “The Substance” and “Wicked.”
Notable snubs in the acting categories include Angelina Jolie for “Maria,” Nicole Kidman for “Babygirl,” Pamela Anderson for “The Last Showgirl” and Denzel Washington for “Gladiator II.”
