The Grammy Winners & Talked About Moments

Last night’s Grammys paid tribute to L.A. firefighters, and raised millions for fire victims. Kendrick Lamar won big, Beyoncé finally won Album of the Year for “Cowboy Carter”, and Chappell Roan got Best New Artist.

If you can believe it, this is Beyoncé’s first win in this category, despite four previous nominations. Either way, she’s the most awarded and nominated artist in Grammy history. “Cowboy Carter” also won Best Country Album. And who gave it to her? Taylor Swift.

Kanye West must have loved that LOL!

Drake had a bad night and he wasn’t even there, because Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” won multiple awards, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

Chappell Roan called out the music industry saying, “I told myself if I ever won a Grammy and I got to stand up here in-front of the most powerful people in music, I would demand that labels and the industry profiting millions of dollars off artists would offer a liveable wage and healthcare, especially to developing artists… labels we got you, but do you got us?
