Seth Rogan Has Harsh Reaction To James Franco Talking About Their Lost Friendship
Seth Rogen isn’t missing his longtime friendship with James Franco.
Esquire asked about comments Franco made last year in Variety talking about the end of their friendship: “No. I haven’t talked to Seth. I love Seth, we had 20 great years together, but I guess it’s over,” “And not for lack of trying. I’ve told him how much he’s meant to me.”
When Esquire asked Rogen how it felt “to have something so personal become so public,” he dismissed it saying: “Honestly, I absorb so little media that it really wasn’t on my radar.”
They rose to fame together on Freaks & Geeks and worked on projects like Pineapple Express and This Is The End. That all ended with sexual misconduct allegations against Franco in 2018. He was accused by five women, four of which were his acting students. He settled lawsuits with two women and has been trying to move on. “I mean, it is what it is,” he said in the interview published in Variety on Oct. 25. “I’ve honestly moved past it. It was dealt with, and I got to change. So that’s it, it’s over. I mean, I’ve worked in the U.S. too. So I’m just trying to move on.”
