How The $24.5 Million Raised From The Concert For Carolina Was Spent

“The Charlotte Observer” did a big story on the Concert for Carolina money and how it was spent. More than 80,000 people packed into Bank of America Stadium and yes, all $24.5 MILLION went exactly where Luke Combs and Eric Church said it would.

“Every single dollar that is made in this building tonight is going straight up those damn mountains to the people that need it the most,” Combs said at the concert. Affiliated nonprofits say it went exactly where it was supposed to: providing meals to the most vulnerable and helping build homes and make repairs.

Church’s half of the money went to his nonprofit Chief Cares, and Combs’ divided his half among Manna Food Bank, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, Samaritan’s Purse and Eblen Charities.
