Ruby Franke’s Estranged Husband and Son Speak Out On Abuse
The Franke family at the height of their popularity on YouTube had 2.5 million subscribers to their ‘8 Passengers” channel earning $100,000 per month. So when the abuse the kids were suffering at the hands of their mother, Ruby, and her therapist, Jodi Hildebrandt, was exposed…it shocked the world.
For the first time, Ruby’s estranged husband, Kevin, and her son, Chad, talk to People Magazine about living through that nightmare and how they are putting their lives back together. Kevin was unaware of the physical abuse as he was made to live apart from the family for a year per Hildebrandt’s suggestion. Ruby and Hildebrandt were sentenced to up to 30 years on felony child abuse in 2024, and Kevin filed for divorce in 2023.
