Gene Hackman Found Dead With His Wife And Dog
Legendary actor Gene Hackman has passed away at the age of 95. Police confirmed late last night that they found the bodies of Gene, but also his wife Betsy, and their dog in their Santa Fe, New Mexico home yesterday. No foul play is suspected and no cause of death has been announced.
Hackman starred in dramatic films like “Bonnie and Clyde”, and “The Poseidon Adventure”. He won the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in 1971’s “The French Connection”, and Best Supporting Actor for his part in Clint Eastwood’s “Unforgiven”. He also played comedy and lighter roles. He was Lex Luthor in “Superman” one and two. You also know him as the coach in “Hoosiers”. He was given a Lifetime Achievement award at the Golden Globes in 2002.
