Katy Perry And Gayle King Are Going To Space On All-Female Flight
Katy Perry is set to join an all-female crew for the next civilian space flight on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket, alongside CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King and Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sánchez.
Blue Origin announced the details of their upcoming 11th human space flight, dubbed mission NS-31.
Perry is actually launching her Lifetimes World Tour starts on April 23 in Mexico City, before trekking through North America, Australia, and Europe, finally wrapping up on November 11 in Madrid. The NS-31 team will also include former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen, and entrepreneur Kerianne Flynn, marking the first all-female space crew since Soviet cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova’s solo flight in 1963.
