Disney’s Live-Action “Snow White” Brings In Only $43 Million Opening Weekend
Disney’s latest live-action remake, Snow White, had a lackluster debut at the domestic box office, securing the top spot with $43 million. For perspective, it cost $270 million to make, so there is A LOT of ground to make up just to break even.
It doesn’t help that the production and casting has been marred in controversy since the first announcement and bad critics’ score from Rotten Tomatoes at a 44%.
