Police Release Bodycam Footage From Gene Hackman Investigation
Police have released extensive bodycam footage from Gene Hackman’s house after a worker called 911. Their longtime contractor saw Hackman on the floor through the window and can be heard saying “something’s not right.”
The bodycam video also captures an emotional phone conversation between one of the officers and Gene’s daughter Elizabeth, who asked that the dog who was also found deceased be cremated and buried with Hackman’s wife, Betsy, who was found in the bathroom. Authorities believe Betsy passed away from a virus passed by rodents, and it’s possible Hackman was unaware of her death. He suffered from advanced Alzheimer’s and died 6 days later.
