Ellen Pompeo Talks Taylor Swift Children’s Hospital Donation
Ellen Pompeo, aka Meredith Grey of Grey’s Anatomy, sat down for a chat on The Jennifer Hudson Show where she talked about how she garnered cool points with her kids.
She almost missed the fact that she met Taylor Swift and appeared in her video for “Bad Blood” almost a decade ago until Jennifer brought it up. She mentioned,
Taylor is such a good girl and I didn’t know her and she invited me to be in the video and I thought, “Oh, that’ll be fun.”
And I went and did the video and it was honestly — it was the easiest thing. It was like an hour or two.
Ellen went on to say that even though she only knew Taylor for about 20 minutes during the video shoot, she asked if she would write her a check to donate to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. As it turns out, Taylor wrote her “the biggest check” for the cause!
