William Shatner Freaks Gayle King Out About Going To Space
Gayle King was initially inspired by William Shatner’s “euphoric” reaction to his trip to space, but now he’s freaking her out LOL! She is going to be a part of an all-female crew going on Blue Origin’s 11th human flight April 14th.
He tells her of the G-force: “You’re going to feel like I’m going to die. But you’re not going to die. You’re on an adventure.” As for the logistical timeline: “The time you leave your bed and get to the ship and deal with the press and go up in the air and then come back down and deal with the press. [It’s] a long time. And there are no bathroom facilities. So, they’re going to give you diapers.”
Shatner did it four years ago when he was 90, so she had him on “CBS Mornings”. Other ladies on that voyage are Katy Perry, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyễn, Kerianne Flynn, and Lauren Sánchez.
