Robert Downey Jr, aka “Iron Man”, turned 60 on April 4, and Entertainment Tonight opened the vault on his career. He started when he was a kid in Pound directed by his dad, Robert Downey Sr.

He’s made 82 films grossing $14 billion worldwide including Brat Pack-era movies like Weird Science and Less Than Zero, then memorable turns in Chaplin, Tropic Thunder. After public addiction struggles and arrests threatened to derail his career, he got sober in 2003 and landed Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
