Actor Speaks Up Refuting Blake Lively’s Account Of “It Ends With Us” Scene
Adam Mondschein played a doctor in It Ends With Us who delivered Lily and Ryle’s daughter, and has a very different account of that scene than Blake Lively. Her amended complaint claimed that he and director/co-star Justin Baldoni created an “unprofessional environment”. Mondschein is firing back with his side of the story: “Indeed, I was surprised to read her description of the scene.”
The complaint reads: “Ms. Lively felt that the selection of Mr. Baldoni’s friend for this intimate role, in which the actor’s face and hands were in close proximity to her nearly nude genitalia for a birth scene, was invasive and humiliating.” Mondschein has acting credentials and a Masters in Fine Arts from UCLA that make him more than qualified for the role. In response to Lively’s claim that she was “nearly nude,” he alleges, “Her costume included a full hospital gown, black shorts and torso-covering prosthetic to make her appear pregnant in addition to whatever personal garments she chose.”
Mondschein said Blakey “never complained or expressed discomfort at any point because nothing unusual or improper occurred. It was entirely professional.”
