Ed Sheeran talked about his recording process during an interview atop a tourist bus explaining why he films every recording session.

He says ever since the first copyright lawsuit in 2015, “I film every single studio session so if that ever, like, comes up again, I’m like ‘well here’s the proof that I wrote it’.” In 2017 Sheeran settled out of court claims relating to his song “Photograph,” something he later said he regretted. Every claim against him since has been defended in court, with juries finding unanimously in his favor each time.
