Kelly Clarkson Talks Mother’s Day Plans To SLEEP

Kelly Clarkson pulled off an early wakeup to promote her new song, “Where Have You Been,” and record label, High Road Records, with the Today Show. She explained that the record label is named after her ranch.

When asked how she wants to celebrate the upcoming Mother’s Day, she says,

All I ask for is to sleep in. Literally. Like, I don’t need any gifts. That’s the gift.

She goes on to chat about what to expect from her Vegas residency, Studio Sessions. It will be completely live with musicians and no tracks playing in the background. She wants to give a studio recording vibe and bring the fun that she feels in the studio to the audiences that come to see her Vegas.

Kelly isn’t sure yet if she’s planning to put out a whole album or if she will continue to put out songs as she feels like it, but she’s working on other songs that don’t sounds like her newest release. Peep the new moody one below:
