Justin Baldoni’s Lawyers Explain Taylor Swift Subpoena And It’s Explosive
Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, sent a letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman explaining his subpoena to have Taylor Swift testify in the lawsuit war his client has with his It Ends With Us co-star, Blake Lively.
In court documents obtained by Page Six, Freedman claims, Michael Gottlieb of Willkie Farr, allegedly “demanded that Ms. Swift release a statement of support for Ms. Lively, intimating that, if Ms. Swift refused to do so, private text messages of a personal nature in Ms. Lively’s possession would be released,” per the filing.
Judge Liman decided to strike these claims by Freedman from the court. A small legal victory for Lively, but further damage in the public eye.
Some comments on reports from @cheche833: “Taytay’s silence is loud.” And from @kenisha_11: “Cannot wait for songs titled “Flake” “Godmother” “Dragon” “Court” “Your Honor” “Supeona” “Lily didn’t Bloom” “B2B: Bestfriend 2 Backstabber” and more so…”
What do YOU think? Who is telling the truth? And will Blake and Taylor still be besties?
