Benson Boone Talks Backflips, Billie Eilish, And 9-Second Sellout
When it comes to flipping on stage, Benson Boone’s perfected his signature move. He told Access Hollywood,
It’s been my signature move for a long time. People that know me really well probably just absolute hate it at this point. And that’s valid. But, I’ve been back-flipping since I was a little kid and it’s just always been — I don’t really know why. I don’t know why. I just — I just do it and it happens. At some point, I’m gonna have to find a different move, but for now it’s the back flips.
When asked about his dream collaboration, he thinks hard but picks Olivia Rodrigo or Billie Eilish:
I think I would like to do a female voice on one of my songs at some point, just because, why not? And I am a big fan of both of them. I think they both have ridiculous voices and songwriting and extremely talented people. So, I would love that.
He went on to add that he didn’t think his tour would sell out as quickly as it did, but it only took nine seconds!
