Taylor Swift Subpoena Withdrawn In Justin Baldoni Blake Lively Lawsuit Battle
Justin Baldoni has withdrawn his subpoena of Taylor Swift in his legal dispute with Blake Lively. Sources suggest Swift voluntarily handed over the requested documents, negating the need for a subpoena.
The legal issue arose from a $400 million lawsuit by Baldoni, accusing Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and their team of defamation and extortion over their involvement in his film It Ends with Us. That lawsuit was in response to the first sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Lively against Baldoni.
Sources have said all of this legal mess has “halted” the friendship between Lively and Swift, and that the real purpose of the subpoena was getting the information of Lively’s blackmail attempt out in the public.
