Chrisley Press Conference After Presidential Pardon

Reality star Todd Chrisley and daughter, Savannah, held a press conference to answer questions from the press about his and his wife, Julie’s release from prison.

The Chrisleys were convicted in 2022 on federal charges of bank fraud and tax evasion. Todd was given 12 years in prison in Pensacola while Julie was given 7 years in Lexington, Kentucky. Before she was pardoned, Julie, 52, had been scheduled for release in January 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, while Todd, 56, was to remain behind bars until September 2032. President Trump signed a full pardon and they were freed hours later. Chrisley told reporters evidence of the “injustices” in their case will be made public as he denied any wrongdoing.

Their reality show, Chrisley Knows Best, ran for 10 seasons and Todd confirmed during the press conference the show is coming back to TV as they “now have much more to talk about.” They started filming immediately when they got home. Lifetime will premiere an all-new docuseries showing how Savannah, 27, Chase Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley, Chloe Chrisley and Nanny Faye Chrisley have navigated the convictions of their parents and the fight to free them.
