National Geographic Dives Into Making “Jaws” For 50th Anniversary
The movie that had us all believing killer sharks were under our bed (we know, it makes zero sense)…JAWS is turning 50. National Geographic takes a deep dive into making the movie and it’s challenges of shooting in the actual ocean, with a mechanical shark that didn’t work 80 percent of the time. The film was 100 days over schedule and Steven Spielberg was afraid he’d get fired! “The film I thought would end my career is the film that began it.”
