Trailer: “The Running Man”
Glen Powell and Josh Brolin star in a remake of the 1987 movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
It’s similar to “The Hunger Games” in that The Running Man is the top-rated show on television and deadly competition where contestants, known as Runners, must survive 30 days while being hunted by professional assassins. Every move is broadcast to the public hungry for blood, with each day bringing a greater cash reward. In the original, Schwarzenegger played a falsely convicted police officer getting a chance at freedom in the game.
In this version, Ben Richards (Glen Powell) is desperate to save his sick daughter and convinced to participate by a ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin).
In theaters November 7th.
