Vin Diesel Is Bringing Back Paul Walker’s Character In The “Fast & Furious” Finale

At FuelFest, and event hosted by Paul Walker’s brother Cody, Vin Diesel revealed what fans said they want to see in the final ‘Fast & Furious’ film.

He told the crowd “Just yesterday I was with Universal Studios…The studio said to me, ‘Vin, can we please have the finale of Fast & Furious [in] April 2027?’ I said, ‘Under three conditions because I’ve been listening to my fan base.'”

“The first is to bring the franchise back to L.A.,” he explained. “The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing.”

“The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O’Conner,” he said. “That is what you’re going to get in the finale.” Paul Walker, who portrayed Brian, died in a car crash on November 30th, 2013, at age 40 before filming was finished for ‘Fast & Furious 7′.

His character was given a heartfelt sendoff as Dom and Brian parted ways in that movie, finished with the help of Walker’s brothers and CGI.
