Lauryn Hill Performed To Near Empty Stadium After Festival Runs Late
Like the professional she is, Lauryn Hill still rocked her performance despite most of the crowd leaving Essence Festival by the time she hit the stage. Organizers say she was added to an already packed list of performers two days prior, and the festival started about an hour late.
That meant she didn’t hit the stage until 2:30am! Her set wrapped at 3:37am! Organizers made sure fans knew she was on time and that the festival was running behind.
