Scarlett Johansson Has Become Most Bankable Lead Actor
The success of Jurassic World Rebirth in it’s first weekend in theaters is not only good news for the studio, but for lead actress Scarlett Johansson. The impressive $318 million it took in over the holiday weekend has solidified her status as Hollywood’s most bankable lead actor. Her movies have earned $14.8 billion at the box office across her career in leading and ensemble roles, according to The Numbers.
That’s good enough to beat out fellow Marvel stars Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Pratt, the latter of whom also starred in previous Jurassic World films.
