U of L Pitcher Patrick Forbes Selected 29th Overall By Arizona Diamondbacks
University of Louisville pitcher Patrick Forbes was taken in the first round, 29th overall, by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2025 Major League Baseball Draft Sunday. He becomes the 10th UofL baseball player to be picked in the first round.
He finished the 2025 season with 117 strikeouts, tied for the seventh-best season at UofL.
