Taylor Swift’s Dad Underwent Heart Bypass Surgery
Taylor Swift’s dad, 73-year-old Scott Swift, underwent a quintuple bypass procedure earlier this summer.
E! News says his recovery is going well after the July 16th procedure that involved creating 5 new pathways for blood to flow around blocked or partially blocked arteries. This wasn’t the result of a heart attack, but instead after Scott’s doctor saw something during a check-up that led to further testing.
His wife of 37 years Andrea Swift as well as both Taylor and their son Austin Swift were with him throughout the surgery and recovery process.
