How GRAMMY Confidence Led To Miley’s New Album
Miley Cyrus chatted with Chris Olsen for TikTok Radio where she explains that winning her first GRAMMYs further solidified her sense of self and led to what became the Something Beautiful album and film.
I think it gave me a level of confidence. I’ve always been someone that’s had a really strong self of self. Even when I was little, I didn’t have any ground to stand on and I was just, like, “the one” in my mind. So, I was always convinced.
Then there was a time I think that all of us go through where we start to question, you know, that kind of little child version of ourself that’s still really curious and again kind of like oddly confident and doesn’t think, you know, double question themselves.
And I think the GRAMMYs just really gave me again that kind of green light to go, “you did it. The thing that you set your heart out for. You’ve done it. You couldn’t have done more.”
Miley now has three GRAMMY Awards. She won Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Flowers” at the 66th Annual. She and Beyoncé took home the GRAMMY for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “II MOST WANTED” at the 67th Annual.
On top of her award success, Spotify is celebrating Miley joining the Billions Club with an upcoming concert film:
