Gandalf And Frodo Will Be In The Next “Lord of the Rings” Movie
Ian McKellen spilled some tea about the new Lord Of The Rings film The Hunt For Gollum during a panel discussion in London. McKellen played Gandalf in the LOTR and Hobbit trilogies, and said that both Gandalf and Frodo will be in the new movie. “I’ll tell you two secrets about the casting: there’s a character in the movie called Frodo, and there’s another character called Gandalf”. That said, he didn’t confirm if he and Elijah Wood were playing those characters or if they were recast, but Andy Serkis is directing and plays Gollum.
We’ve got awhile to wait though as it won’t arrive in theaters until December 2027.
