NFL Commissioner Fuels More Taylor Swift Halftime Rumors
During an appearance on the Today Show on Wednesday (September 3), NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell might have poured a little gas on the flames about a possible Taylor Swift 2026 Super Bowl halftime show. He’s given us a definite “maybe,” while deferring to Jay-Z and his Roc Nation team for the final call.
“We would always love to have Taylor play,” Goodell said. “She is a special, special talent, and obviously she would be welcome at any time.” Swift, of course, has obvious ties to the NFL with her recent engagement to Travis Kelce. She is also dropping a new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which would be a perfect fit for a promotional Super Bowl performance.
We can only assume a decision should come fairly soon, as a show like that takes tons of prep and rehearsal!
