Taylor Swift Aims For “Luxury” In Showgirl Era
The photo cards in the CDs packages, the poems in the vinyl records, the high gloss finish on the album cover — it’s all a nod to the luxurious feel Taylor Swift wants fans to have when they get their copies of The Life of a Showgirl on October 3.
Taylor appears in a director’s chair to talk about what to expect from her 12th studio album.
I really spent a lot of time figuring out how I could make the best vinyl product and the best packaging and the best CD experience that they could have.
The album release comes with a “release party” in theaters too. Taylor announced that the new album would be accompanied by behind-the-scenes footage, a music video for the first single, plus lyric videos for the other songs on the album.
