The Next ‘James Bond’ Will Be A British Unknown Actor
After rumors and theories of famous names who might be next in line to play the iconic character of James Bond, Director Denis Villeneuve is taking a sharp left turn. According to a report from Deadline, Villeneuve is looking for an unknown British actor in his 20s or 30s for a fresh starts.
Daniel Craig last held the role for 15 years. Sources told Deadline, “Whoever it is, has to look like he could kill you with his bare hands in a trice. From the moment you see him, that has to be readily apparent.” Steven Knight is writing the script which could be an origin story following Bond as a British naval officer before MI6.
The film is expected to release in 2028 after filming in 2027.
