Tate McRae On The Song Her Parents Thought Was Awful

Tate McRae sat down for Time magazine to analyze her career so far and highlights, including a song her parents thought was “awful”. That was the first song she wrote and posted online, that ended up getting the attention of a record label and got her signed!

She quit middle school in Canada to be on a dance TV show before putting her music online. The 2023 Billboard Music Awards was her first performance of “Greedy” where she says she just “went for it” with the dancing.
