Taylor Swift Shuts Down Rumors She May Quit Music After Her Wedding
During a recent BBC Radio 2 interview with Scott Mills, Taylor Swift shut down rumors sparked by fans suggesting her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, would be her last after she marries Travis Kelce. “That’s a shockingly offensive thing to say,” Swift said. “That’s not why people get married — so they can quit their job.”
Mills suggest those rumors are due to Swifties’ tendency to panic about her future plans, and Taylor agreed. “They love to panic sometimes, but I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do, and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music. That’s the coolest thing about Travis. He is so passionate about what he does that me being passionate about what I do… it connects us.”
Continuing her media blitz, she was the only guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Monday (October 6).
As for her fiance, Travis Kelce sat down with his brother Jason Kelce along with Kansas City Cheifs coach Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes ahead of Monday Night Football and was asked when the wedding will be!
Unfortunately, the Chiefs lost a 14-0 lead, losing 31-23 to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Personally for Travis, he is now the Chiefs’ all-time leader in all-purpose yards gained after that game.
